How does escrow work?+
When you accept a quote, the agreed amount is charged to your card and held safely by MyAllBuilder. The tradesperson can see the funds are secured. Once the job is complete and you mark it as done, the payment is released. If there's a problem, you can open a dispute and our team will review it.
How are tradespeople verified?+
Every tradesperson submits proof of identity, business details, and any relevant certifications (Gas Safe number, Part P, NICEIC, FENSA, public liability insurance). Our team manually reviews each profile and verifies the credentials before approving the account.
What if there's a dispute?+
If something goes wrong — work not completed, quality issues, no-show — you can open a dispute from your dashboard. Funds stay in escrow while our team reviews the case fairly. Outcomes include full release, full refund, or partial refund depending on the evidence.
Is my personal information safe?+
Yes. Your full address and contact details are never shown publicly. Only the tradesperson whose quote you accept will see your full address and phone number. We comply with UK GDPR and you can request data export or deletion at any time.
